Erasmus+
Connecting people, ideas and opportunities across Europe
Erasmus+ is an important part of the Associazione Turkish Italian Culture and Research Association’s work to bring people together across Türkiye, Italy and Europe. Through the programme, we aim to create opportunities for young people, students, researchers, youth workers and members of civil society to meet, exchange experiences and learn from one another. We see these projects not only as opportunities for mobility, but also as a way to build lasting connections between people and organisations.
Our Erasmus+ work reflects the areas that are central to our association. These include inclusion and diversity, intercultural dialogue, youth participation, human rights and civic engagement, digital transformation, and sustainability. We are particularly interested in projects that help young people take a more active role in their communities, while also developing practical skills and a broader understanding of Europe. Digital and AI literacy, media literacy and the responsible use of emerging technologies are also increasingly important areas of our work.
We are interested in both developing and participating in Youth Exchanges, Youth Participation Activities, training courses, cooperation projects and other Erasmus+ initiatives. Depending on the project, our activities can range from international youth meetings and non-formal learning workshops to training for youth workers, digital literacy activities and projects centred on civic participation and human rights. We also value projects that bring together different fields and allow universities, researchers, NGOs, youth organisations and local communities to contribute their own perspectives.
As a growing organisation based in Italy with a strong Türkiye-Italy-Europe focus, we are always interested in meeting organisations with similar goals and exploring new ideas together. We are open to taking part as a partner organisation, host organisation or project co-developer, depending on the needs of the project. If your organisation works in areas such as youth, culture, education, inclusion, digital transformation, human rights or intercultural dialogue, we would be glad to hear from you and discuss possible Erasmus+ collaborations.
